Anti-Trafficking Intern (Summer 2026)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a motivated Summer 2026 Anti‑Trafficking Intern to support survivors of human trafficking. Working closely with case management teams, you will help clients navigate complex systems and access essential services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client needs, develop service plans, and provide ongoing case management.
• Draft, edit, and distribute outreach materials such as flyers, fact sheets, and presentations.
• Research and develop partnerships with agencies, networks, and service providers aligned with program goals.
• Accompany clients to appointments with lawyers, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and public benefit agencies.
• Conduct community mapping and outreach to identify resources and increase IRC visibility.
• Maintain quality control of client files and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, in‑person work.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid US driver’s license (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interest in humanitarian issues and trafficking survivor services.
• Willingness to use public transportation with clients.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, or French is preferred.
