Ferry Specialist

About the role

The Ferry Specialist will coordinate ferry reservations and ensure smooth execution of ferry operations for an international transport company. Working from the Vilnius office, you will interact with ferry operators, internal teams and support cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ferry bookings and monitor their execution.
• Communicate with ferry operators and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Resolve order‑related issues and assist internal departments.
• Track route and schedule changes and inform relevant units.
• Ensure accuracy of reservation data and manage invoicing.
• Contribute to cost‑optimization and saving projects.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation after working hours to order required ferry tickets (extra compensation provided).

Required profile

• Excellent Lithuanian and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• High sense of responsibility, meticulousness and quick learning ability.
• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good computer literacy, especially with MS Office tools.
• Experience in logistics, transport, operations or customer service is a plus.
