Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

Telia is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join its Linux Platforms Team. You will help design, support, and optimise enterprise Linux environments for the company’s largest clients while growing your expertise in a forward‑thinking, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux‑based systems (AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
• Investigate and resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Deploy, configure, and optimise infrastructure services.
• Participate in system upgrades and migration projects.
• Automate routine operational tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and improve solutions.
• Continuously learn new technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience administering Linux systems in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL/MariaDB installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of Nginx or Apache and shell scripting.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Lithuanian.
• Nice to have: automation with Ansible and monitoring with Zabbix, Grafana or Prometheus.
