Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant Accountant to support day‑to‑day AR activities, payment posting and internal billing within Yara European Business Services in Vilnius.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in performing day‑to‑day Accounts Receivable activities, reconciliation and reporting following global procedures.
• Post and allocate incoming payments accurately and promptly.
• Collect data for investigating unallocated payments.
• Support request management for credit and debit notes.
• Prepare dedicated internal billing invoices within agreed deadlines.
• Run regular checks on billing due lists to ensure all invoices are distributed.
• Collect data for intercompany reconciliation tasks to support month‑end close.

Required profile

• Ongoing or completed studies in finance, mathematics, statistics or related discipline (optional).
• Relevant or similar work experience in accounting (optional).
• Willingness to learn and cooperate in a cross‑cultural organization.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligible to work in Lithuania.
