DevOps Engineer – Platform & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing compliance startup that provides a full KYC management suite. You will work on a platform that combines identity verification, data monitoring, risk scoring and case management, helping customers in the financial services sector operate securely online.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and extend the platform and its supporting infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) modules using Terraform.
• Build internal tools and integrations, including custom Terraform providers and supporting services.
• Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure and applications, and debug production code.
• Investigate and resolve database performance and operational issues for SQL and NoSQL/vector databases.
• Apply GitOps practices to manage and deliver infrastructure and software changes.
• Automate workflows to support Platform and Development teams.
• Enhance platform reliability, observability, performance and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or a similar role.
• Strong programming and problem‑solving skills with ability to understand and modify unfamiliar codebases.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one general‑purpose language; Go or Python is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting application‑level issues.NET/C# knowledge is a plus.
• Good understanding of relational databases, SQL and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with metrics, monitoring, alerting and logging tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Linux environments.
• Background in infrastructure and operational automation and cloud‑based security management.
• Good English communication skills.
