Medical Advisor – Vaccines (Lithuania)

About the role

The Medical Advisor will lead the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy for vaccines in Lithuania. This position focuses on shaping medical strategy, building scientific relationships, and supporting evidence generation while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate medical insights to inform company strategy and translate global goals into local tactical plans.
• Manage up to 50% of time in external engagements, including peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange and advisory boards.
• Oversee Investigator‑Initiated Study proposals and collaborate with research labs and Global Clinical Trial Operations to identify investigators.
• Support data generation across clinical phases I‑IV, selecting research projects, sites, and innovative methods.
• Provide balanced, non‑promotional scientific information in line with company standards and local regulations.
• Engage with scientific societies, health organisations, and publications to build trust and facilitate collaborations.
• Assist in regulatory, public‑relations, and compliance issues, including safety, risk‑management, and health‑technology‑assessment activities.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, or a related life‑science field.
• Significant experience in Medical Affairs, preferably within vaccines or immunisation.
• Strong understanding of clinical development, investigator‑initiated studies, and regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication skills to convey scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and adapt tactical plans to local business realities.

Required skills

• Experience managing Investigator‑Initiated Studies (IIS) and collaborating with Global Clinical Trial Operations.
• Knowledge of clinical trial phases I‑IV and data‑generation methodologies.
• Familiarity with health‑technology‑assessment processes and regulatory response planning.
