Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

KAYAK, a leading travel search engine within Booking Holdings, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its SEM Experience team in Kaunas. You will help build and scale marketing experiences that guide millions of travelers to discover flights, stays, and rental cars.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack product features used by millions of travelers.
• Build and optimise dynamic landing pages that personalise content based on search intent and keywords.
• Develop, improve and integrate APIs and backend services supporting reliable user journeys.
• Translate product and marketing requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Make architectural decisions, evaluate trade‑offs and prototype new approaches.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests, and ensure production reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern frontend technologies.
