Senior Tax Specialist

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join its dynamic Tax team. You will work closely with senior management and a diverse client base, providing strategic tax advice across direct, indirect and green taxes. This role offers the chance to deepen technical tax expertise while developing leadership and business acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pragmatic commercial advice to improve clients’ day‑to‑day tax reporting for corporate income tax, withholding tax, real estate tax, VAT, excise duties, import duties and environmental taxes.
• Help clients optimise working capital, reduce errors and control costs in a rapidly digitalising compliance environment.
• Analyse the impact of digital taxation on supply chains, financial and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality delivery and meet tight deadlines.
• Support senior management in developing tax strategies that align with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax advisory or compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, economics or a related business field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and lead delivery teams.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of corporate income tax, withholding tax, real estate tax, VAT, excise and import duties.
• Understanding of environmental, carbon and other green taxes.
• Familiarity with digital tax compliance tools and emerging regulations.
