Head of People Operations & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Head of People Operations to design and scale HR systems, compliance, contractor management and data tools for a fast‑growing organization of 500+ employees across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of two and own the HRIS, compliance, contractor management and people data.
• Build AI‑powered self‑service tools, knowledge bases and workflows that reduce manual effort.
• Run the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, contract changes, internal moves, leave, off‑boarding and record keeping.
• Oversee EoR setups, contractor community and new‑country launches with documented controls.
• Own the HR tech stack (starting with Personio), assess fit, lead integrations, ensure data quality and automate processes.
• Create dashboards and reports on headcount, turnover, costs and other workforce metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and IT on systems, integrations and vendor management.

Required profile

• 7+ years in People/HR Operations, including at least 2 years leading a team.
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑country payroll, EoR and employment compliance in Europe, especially Lithuanian labor law.
• Experience managing contractors or freelancers at scale.
• Lithuanian language proficiency and fluent English.

Required skills

• Personio (or similar HRIS) implementation and administration.
• HiBob or comparable HRIS platforms.
• Multi‑country payroll and EoR compliance.
• Data reporting, dashboard creation and analytics.
• AI integration for People Ops automation.
