Head of Product

About the role

As Head of Product you will own boredpanda.com, one of the world’s largest visual publishing platforms. Reporting directly to the COO, you will shape the product vision, drive the roadmap and turn massive traffic into loyal audiences and sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall product experience, including navigation, discovery, recirculation, session depth and gamification features.
• Partner with content and distribution teams to make the site the optimal home for editorial material.
• Own the programmatic stack and on‑site monetisation, balancing ad revenue with user experience.
• Run a clear intake process, maintain a prioritized roadmap and provide visibility to the development team.
• Collaborate with engineering to scope, sequence and ship features.
• Lead and grow a small team covering ad operations and analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning a consumer web product, preferably in media, publishing or a high‑traffic ad‑supported environment.
• Track record of turning product vision into shipped features that move real metrics.
• Strong data‑driven decision making with fluency in product and web analytics.
• Understanding of programmatic advertising, viewability and revenue‑vs‑experience trade‑offs.
• Ability to align engineering and senior stakeholders behind a clear plan.
• People‑leadership experience or clear readiness for it.
