UX/UI Design Team Lead

About the role

Gurtam is seeking a UX/UI Design Team Lead to drive the design vision for its web and mobile B2B products within the Wialon ecosystem. You will combine deep design expertise with people leadership to create exceptional user experiences and elevate the design culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the UX/UI design team, establishing processes, standards, and workflow from task assignment to development hand‑off.
• Manage team performance, set goals, conduct reviews, and support hiring and onboarding.
• Define design concepts, plan projects, and create high‑fidelity prototypes for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with technical constraints.
• Audit and redesign legacy interfaces, implement design systems and modern guidelines.
• Facilitate regular design reviews, critiques, and ideation sessions.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze metrics to improve usability.
• Perform competitor analysis and validate new ideas.

Required profile

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record designing B2B products for web and mobile.
• Strong understanding of user‑centered design, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Fluent English (B2); Russian language skills are a plus.
