CI/CD Automation Engineer

About the role

The CI/CD Automation Engineer will own and operate a 24x7 self‑service developer platform, delivering CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tooling that streamline development workflows across technology teams. This role ensures the platform is reliable, secure, and continuously improved to accelerate delivery speed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release processes.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates and modules to standardize environment provisioning.
• Operate and enhance the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to provide self‑service capabilities.
• Monitor and support automation and development tooling availability on a 24x7 basis.
• Automate developer workflows, reducing manual effort and improving delivery speed.
• Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and improve platform usability.
• Embed security, compliance, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform incidents, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of container and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in a 24x7 operational environment.
