Customer Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join Nikulipe, a fast‑growing fintech that enables cross‑border payments for emerging markets. Reporting to the COO, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, helping them onboard, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with KYC requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Answer client, customer and user inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Track, manage and follow up on support tickets until resolution.
• Coordinate with Finance, Technical Support, Product, Operations and Compliance teams to address customer requests.
• Support customer onboarding, including document collection, review, record‑keeping and internal documentation.
• Assist with KYC and due‑diligence checks for new and existing clients, adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify and suggest improvements to daily support and onboarding processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support, client services, KYC or a related role; fintech or payments experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling documentation and follow‑ups.
• Proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership of client requests.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑growing environment.
