IT Solution Architect

About the role

In this role you will lead the design and evolution of business applications, acting as both Solution Architect and technical owner. You will translate business needs into sustainable solutions, define architectural direction, drive modernization initiatives, and provide technical leadership to ensure secure, reliable, high‑quality outcomes aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, translate them into solution concepts and architecture requirements.
• Design end‑to‑end business solutions that align people, processes, information and technology.
• Facilitate workshops with product owners, technical architects, tech‑leads and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and priorities.
• Analyze and optimise business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, simplification and improved customer experience.
• Define solution scope, business capabilities and target operating models while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Evaluate solution options, assess impact, risks, costs and benefits, and provide recommendations for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Developer or Senior Systems Analyst.
• Proven experience designing enterprise application architectures across modern and legacy environments.
• Experience defining architecture standards, non‑functional requirements and security controls.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, cloud migration, cloud‑native architecture principles and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, data modelling and enterprise data management principles.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Experience in the insurance or banking sector is a strong advantage.
