Network Security Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Network Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, resilient network solutions for a major digital transformation in the banking sector. The role supports digital banking initiatives and can be performed remotely from anywhere in Lithuania, with optional collaboration at our Vilnius and Kaunas offices.

Key responsibilities

• Produce As‑Is security architecture assessments, target architectures, and high‑level design documents for banking change programs.
• Deliver security designs for REST APIs, micro‑services, event‑driven, batch, and integration gateways in regulated payments environments.
• Assess solution designs, identify security gaps, evaluate risk, and recommend secure design patterns.
• Track and manage security design decisions, negotiate risk‑based options with technology, business, and risk stakeholders.
• Influence teams on secure‑by‑design principles through clear communication.
• Support large banking transformation programs and define infrastructure security architectures for high availability and resilience.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in network security management.
• Knowledge of Irish and European financial regulations (PSD2/RTS SCA, SWIFT CSP, PCI DSS) and EBA guidelines.
• Relevant architecture certification (SABSA preferred, TOGAF acceptable).
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+ level).
