About the role

Ignitis Group is looking for a Digital Security Expert to join its Digital Security team. You will protect renewable energy infrastructure from cyber threats, ensuring that IT and OT systems meet the required security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for wind and solar parks and other renewable‑energy assets.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2 and IEC 62443.
• Define and enforce cybersecurity requirements for IT and OT environments in the renewable‑energy sector.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Manage supply‑chain security risks and coordinate third‑party security assessments.
• Analyse cyber‑incident trends, deliver insights and propose preventive measures.

Required profile

• Higher education in information security, IT, cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably with IT and OT systems in energy or critical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to assess supply‑chain security risks and implement safeguards.
• Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR and EDR.
• Understanding of SCADA, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 62443, COBIT, NIST and relevant EU legislation (e.g., NIS2).
