Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve the CI/CD pipeline, packaging, and deployment infrastructure for our agent development framework SDK. You will ensure reliable, automated delivery of Python‑based AI workloads to AWS, working remotely from anywhere in Lithuania or from our Vilnius and Kaunas offices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain multi‑stage Docker images for Python agent workloads.
• Manage packaging using uv, pyproject.toml and lockfiles.
• Create and operate GitHub Actions pipelines covering testing, building, ECR push and AgentCore Runtime deployment.
• Configure AWS AgentCore CLI, agentcore.json and aws‑targets.json deployment files.
• Oversee ECR image pushes, container security scanning and deployments to EKS / AgentCore Runtime.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience deploying containerised Python AI workloads to AWS (ECS or EKS).
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines at team scale.
• Background in production‑grade infrastructure‑as‑code.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
