Senior Technical Consultant

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with deep, hands‑on expertise in Microsoft platforms. You will split your time between direct client interaction—running workshops, shaping solution blueprints, and validating technical approaches—and supporting delivery excellence across our Microsoft practice.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Delivery Management to engage prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial meetings to deal closure.
• Scope, author, and review proposals, statements of work, and effort estimates for complex Microsoft engagements.
• Design Azure‑based solutions covering application modernization, data platforms, AI/ML, and Copilot/Fabric workloads.
• Analyze client application and data estates, create transformation roadmaps, and produce architecture documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical oversight, and help resolve implementation challenges.
• Share expertise with EPAM engineers, contribute to internal knowledge bases, and stay current on Microsoft innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑workload Microsoft implementations.
• Strong client‑facing consulting background with the ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting presales activities, including scoping and proposal writing.
• Solid understanding of solution architecture across application and data/AI stacks.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
