Accountant – Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre

About the role

Join SEB's Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre as an Accountant, supporting the Baltic Accounting team in delivering high‑quality, timely accounting and reporting across the region. You will help maintain efficient processes while contributing to digitalisation and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks and month‑end closing procedures for the assigned area.
• Provide accurate data for financial reporting.
• Handle communications and requests from business stakeholders and external parties.
• Collaborate on continuous process and accounting system improvements.
• Participate in Baltic‑wide accounting initiatives and contribute to internal policy development.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics or accounting.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
• Strong willingness to learn and stay updated on accounting and tax matters.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and independent work abilities.
• High accuracy, initiative and sense of responsibility.
• Good analytical skills and time‑management capabilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Oracle Financials (advantage).
