Accountant – Entry Level

About the role

Cencora’s Shared Service Center in Lithuania is looking for an early‑career accountant to support routine journal entries, reconciliations and period‑close activities. You will work closely with senior accountants and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare routine journal entries, account reconciliations and financial transaction records in line with established accounting standards.
• Reconcile assigned account balances, bank statements and subsidiary ledgers, flagging unresolved variances for senior review.
• Compile financial data and supporting documentation for senior‑team reporting and period‑close activities.
• Coordinate follow‑up with internal stakeholders on transaction approvals and documentation requests.
• Support period‑close by completing reconciliations, accrual preparations and reporting tasks within defined timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, transaction processing or reconciliations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA) – not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and SAP Disputes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
