Accountant – Finance Operations

About the role

The Accountant at BURGA ensures the financial engine runs smoothly, supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, transaction monitoring and accurate reporting for a fast‑growing lifestyle brand.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily accounting tasks with precision and a strong focus on detail.
• Process bank payments promptly and perform accurate bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reports.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to resolve inquiries.
• Identify discrepancies and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to the implementation of new financial systems to automate routine tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience with the Business Central 365 (NAV) platform is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.
