Accountant - FinTech

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Vilnius office of a licensed Electronic Money Institution. The role offers hands‑on experience in a regulated FinTech environment, supporting daily financial operations and multi‑currency accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, transaction processing and accounting system administration.
• Process invoices, payment documentation and internal financial requests accurately and on time.
• Monitor account balances, operational limits and liquidity across banking and payment channels.
• Perform reconciliations and support the accuracy of multi‑currency accounting records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Prepare internal financial reports and standardized regulatory reporting.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Support audits by providing required documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial administration processes.
• Professional or intermediate English language skills.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a structured and regulated financial environment.
• Previous experience in banking, payments, FinTech or financial services is a plus.
