Accountant

About the role

Join EY’s Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team as an Accountant, supporting financial integrity and regulatory compliance for a diverse client base. You will work in a collaborative, international environment, helping organisations achieve transparent and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions, maintain accounting records, issue invoices and manage bank accounts.
• Prepare payroll calculations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Perform account reconciliations, identify discrepancies and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in business, economics, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in an international environment is a plus.
