Accounts Payable Assistant Accountant – South Europe Team

About the role

Join Yara European Business Services as an Accounts Payable Assistant Accountant supporting the South Europe Team. You will work in a cross‑cultural environment, handling day‑to‑day AP tasks while developing your finance expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing day‑to‑day accounts payable, including matching and coding invoices.
• Liaise with suppliers, manage reconciliations and maintain up‑to‑date supplier records.
• Handle changes in banking accounts for all suppliers and request new supplier setups.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Perform tasks in line with Service Level Agreements and follow directives from the Team Lead or Line Manager.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance or a related field (advantageous).
• Relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable (advantageous).
• Willingness to learn and work in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Strong cooperation skills and very good written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligibility to work in Lithuania.
