Accounts Receivable Assistant Accountant

About the role

Yara European Business Services is looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant Accountant to support its finance team in Lithuania. The role involves handling day‑to‑day AR activities, ensuring accurate posting of payments and supporting internal billing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post and allocate incoming payments promptly following global procedures.
• Collect data for investigating unallocated payments and support credit/debit note requests.
• Prepare internal billing invoices and run regular checks on billing due lists.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliation tasks to ensure smooth month‑end close.

Required profile

• Ongoing or completed studies in finance, mathematics, statistics or related discipline (optional).
• Relevant or similar experience in accounting (optional).
• Willingness to learn and strong cooperation skills in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligibility to work in Lithuania.
