AI/ML Computational Scientist

About the role

As an AI/ML Computational Scientist you will design, build and operationalise artificial intelligence and machine‑learning solutions for enterprise clients, combining custom models with cloud and third‑party AI services to deliver production‑ready outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate real‑world problems into practical, efficient and scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and implement machine‑learning algorithms, models and computational systems, and design scalable data pipelines with DevOps & MLOps for training and production.
• Customize and apply Deep Learning, Generative AI and Large Language Models for various use cases, including edge devices and HPC.
• Engage in R&D of new AI and high‑performance compute algorithms, models and simulations.
• Work with large‑scale datasets, ensuring high‑quality input for training and production.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a machine‑learning engineer or scientist deploying models at scale, including monitoring and auditing.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed computing systems, big data, HPC, cloud and grid environments.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills in a consulting environment.
• EU work permit and availability to start within 1‑3 months.

Required skills

• Python and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Programming languages: C++, Java, R, SQL.
• Experience with LLM APIs and optimisation.
• DevOps/MLOps pipelines, cloud deployment, distributed computing.
