AML Supervisor

About the role

A leading global provider of consulting services to the public sector and commercial markets is hiring an AML Supervisor in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will supervise, instruct and give feedback to a team carrying out financial crime investigations covering Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance, including enhanced due diligence, sanctions and politically exposed persons screening, transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting. The role follows a clear career path with opportunities to grow project management and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the production and quality of a team of analysts, performing spot checks
• Provide day-to-day quality assurance, monitoring, coaching and feedback across the wider team
• Monitor adherence to individual and team production and quality metrics
• Support analysts not meeting standards with one-on-one help to improve their work product
• Deliver on time and support project governance at team level
• Ensure adherence to client messaging and SOP changes
• Identify training needs and communicate them to the Trainer and Project Manager
• Administer daily schedules and attendance for the analyst team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least 2 years of people management experience
• Hands-on experience of multiple AML functions (EDD, KYC, Sanctions, Transaction monitoring)
• Experience with stakeholder management and proven ability to write compliance reports
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Nice to have: Master's degree, knowledge of European AML regulations, CAMS/ICA certifications
