Application Architect

About the role

Telia is seeking a visionary Application Architect to lead the design of its Service Order Management (SOM) platform. The role focuses on creating a robust, future‑proof architecture that enables seamless service delivery across mobile, fixed and converged networks.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the application and service architecture for Service Order Management.
• Lead solution design across initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and TM Forum standards.
• Produce high‑ and low‑level design documentation and apply security‑by‑design principles.
• Collaborate with BSS, NSO, Inventory, SIM management teams and external vendors to guarantee quality and performance.
• Ensure architectural governance and compliance throughout the SOM ecosystem.

Required profile

• Strong background in OSS architecture, especially Service Order Management, service orchestration, inventory or SIM/eSIM lifecycle management.
• Ability to work across technical domains, teams and vendors in an international agile environment.
• Understanding of how architecture decisions impact service delivery and customer experience.
