Automation Technician

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Operate, service and maintain cardboard packaging equipment according to detailed instructions.
• Perform planned, unplanned and project‑based maintenance tasks.
• Carry out equipment assembly, disassembly and fine‑tuning.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement new automation solutions.

Required profile

• Professional or university degree in engineering (preferred).
• Experience in automation within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to read technical documentation, drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety and technical English.
• Proficiency with MS Office and computer literacy.

Required skills

• PLC programming basics.
• Frequency converter configuration.
• Servo drive programming.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Operation of CNC machines (advantage).
