Back-end Developer – C#/.NET (Kaunas)

About the role

Festo, a global leader in industrial automation, is looking for a Back‑end Developer to join its Digital Twin platform team in Kaunas. You will work on cloud‑native solutions, APIs and data integration, helping customers modernise their operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Build and enhance cloud‑native solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to Digital Twin platform development and data integration.
• Work with SQL databases, event‑driven workflows, and serverless services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and agile development.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with C# and .NET.
• Good understanding of backend application design and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Interest in modern technologies such as Digital Twins, GraphQL, and serverless architectures.
