Business Developer

About the role

The Business Developer will drive new business development by identifying, attracting and nurturing potential customers within the assigned market segment and geography. The role focuses on building strong relationships, promoting Girteka Group’s logistics solutions and handing over qualified accounts to Account Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and qualify leads.
• Prepare tailored commercial offers and negotiate pricing, contracts and service conditions.
• Coordinate first shipments, ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Generate revenue from new customers in line with sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and development opportunities.
• Manage newly acquired clients for the first year before transferring them to Account/Customer Managers.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Pricing and Customer Care for effective onboarding.

Required profile

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably outbound lead qualification.
• Persistence and resilience to engage prospects through multiple contacts.
• Experience with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce or similar).
• Computer literacy with the MS Office Suite.
• English proficiency at B2‑C1 level.
