Business Development Manager – German Market (B2B Prefab Construction)

About the role

VMG Lignum is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth of its engineered‑wood prefab solutions in the German market. You will own the market strategy, build long‑term partnerships with construction stakeholders, and act as the face of the company at key industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach new clients, partners and construction projects for prefab solutions in Germany.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with developers, contractors, architects and other business partners.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Coordinate customer projects with internal engineering, production and logistics teams.
• Represent VMG Lignum at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to support product and business development.

Required profile

• Experience with construction, prefab or technical B2B products.
• Understanding of property development processes and project delivery.
• Project‑management experience, including timeline, risk and budget handling.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for business; based in Germany is a strong advantage.
