Business Planning & Performance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Planning & Performance Analyst to join our Finance team and turn financial and operational data into meaningful business insights. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners, Accounting and management, building a deep understanding of our business and supporting performance analysis, planning and decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate management reporting, delivering accurate and insightful analysis that tells the story behind business performance.
• Identify key business drivers, risks and opportunities, turning data into clear and actionable insights.
• Monitor budget versus actual performance and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain and develop ACMI and Charter business case models, evaluate actual performance against assumptions and support fact‑based decision making.
• Coordinate cash‑flow forecasting, monitor forecast accuracy and provide insights on cash‑flow trends and potential risks.
• Work closely with Finance Business Partners to continuously improve reporting structures, KPIs, performance measurement and management information.
• Bring together information from different areas of the business to create a clear view of overall company performance.
• Drive improvements, standardisation and automation across reporting, planning and analysis processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, controlling, FP&A, treasury support or a similar role.
• Comfortable working with financial and operational data and translating it into business insights.
• Understanding of how business performance is measured and how data supports decision‑making.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Curious and business‑minded, able to connect the dots, see the bigger picture and ask the right questions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
