Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kaunas, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Union Asset Management. The CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting and reporting while providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and long‑term financial strategy.
• Manage financial reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, capital allocation and key performance metrics.
• Develop and implement financial policies and support regulatory and audit requirements.
• Contribute to risk management and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and lead the finance team.
• Optimize financial systems, controls and support business growth and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategy.
• Proficiency in preparing, analyzing and interpreting financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and support decision‑making.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams, establishing robust internal controls and working with auditors and regulators.
• Extensive background in asset management, investment management or a related financial services environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, risk management and supporting business growth initiatives.
• Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
