Control Center Specialist

About the role

Under the supervision of the Customer Service Control Center Supervisor, you will join a high‑performing, customer‑focused team in Vilnius, providing courteous and efficient back‑office service. You will handle order processing and act as the main point of contact for internal and external customers via phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and respond to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Plan, execute and route shipment orders, considering commodity, volume, temperature control and transit time.
• Enter orders into the Transport Management System (TMS) and manage transaction processing accurately and promptly.
• Monitor ongoing shipments, react to deviations and communicate temperature results after delivery.
• Provide customer‑specific reporting and maintain up‑to‑date shipment status information.
• Adhere to all procedures, work instructions and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines and handling agents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Previous experience in a customer service setting; logistics knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English with strong oral and written communication.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
