Data Analyst – Group Finance & Operations (Mid‑Senior)

About the role

At Nord Security we are building a safer cyber future by delivering privacy‑focused products such as VPNs, password managers and threat intelligence. As a Data Analyst you will turn raw financial and operational data into reliable datasets that support decision‑making across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dbt models that transform raw financial and operational data into documented, reliable datasets for group‑wide use.
• Deliver and automate both standardized and ad‑hoc reporting, ensuring recurring outputs are produced consistently without manual intervention.
• Analyze key performance indicators to identify root causes, inter‑dependencies and emerging trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Design, implement and maintain data structures underpinning group reporting, including data models, database schemas, dashboards and visualisations.
• Partner with finance, operations and engineering teams to standardise data definitions, processes and procedures across the organisation.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably supporting finance or operations functions.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with the ability to write readable, maintainable and efficient queries.
• Proven track record of turning complex datasets into business decisions and building reports in a modern BI platform such as Power BI or Looker.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage stakeholders across functions, including non‑technical audiences.
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken English.
