Data Analyst – Operational Reporting Team

About the role

Join the Operational Reporting team within Financial Crime Prevention at Danske Bank. You will work with a group of data and business analysts to deliver reliable, automated reporting that supports daily management and strategic decision‑making across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise SQL‑based data transformation processes that combine multiple Financial Crime Prevention data sources into trusted reporting datasets.
• Build, maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports for senior leadership and operational teams.
• Collaborate with business analysts, compliance, risk and technology stakeholders to gather, clarify and validate reporting requirements.
• Translate complex financial‑crime processes into clear metrics, KPIs and SLAs with transparent calculation logic.
• Identify, validate and optimise information sources to ensure accurate, scalable reporting solutions.
• Document SQL processes, data models, KPI definitions and reporting solutions in Confluence for auditability and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in complex data integration and transformation.
• Practical SQL experience for building scalable reporting datasets.
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau (or similar dashboard tool) delivering interactive reports.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to define metrics, challenge assumptions and ensure reporting consistency.
• Degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering).
