Data Science & Analytics Manager – Help Experience

About the role

As the Data Science & Analytics Manager for the Spark team in Vinted’s Help Experience (HEX) domain, you will build, grow, and lead a multidisciplinary team of Decision Scientists and Data Scientists. You will shape the vision and strategy for support‑agent tooling, improve support quality measurement, and drive a data‑driven culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, mentor and structure a team of Decision and Data Scientists, adapting the organization for resilience and wellbeing.
• Define and own metrics that measure support agent and vendor resolution quality, turning insights into coaching and operational decisions.
• Raise the rigor of experimentation, analytics and machine‑learning modeling, establishing best‑practice standards across HEX.
• Accelerate experimentation and production model deployment while safeguarding team health and quality.
• Co‑create vision, strategy and a 12‑month tactical roadmap for Spark, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design and Support Operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Decision Science, Data Analytics or Data Science and a track record of leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Ability to translate high‑level strategy into actionable tactical plans and to evaluate trade‑offs and risks.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Passion for improving member experience and for fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
