Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO)

About the role

The Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) will support the MLRO in ensuring high‑quality KYC/KYB processes, transaction monitoring and AML/CFT reporting. The role combines quality control, system testing and policy improvement to safeguard the bank against financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control of KYC/KYB processes and monitor First Line of Defence compliance with ongoing due diligence.
• Review transaction monitoring and customer alert investigations, including sanctions, PEPs and adverse media.
• Test and assess AML/CFT monitoring systems, identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Cover for the MLRO during absences, prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports and periodic regulatory reports.
• Participate in the development and continuous improvement of AML/CFT and KYC/KYB policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of AML/CFT experience in a senior specialist, Deputy MLRO or comparable role.
• Hands‑on experience in quality control of KYC/KYB and AML/CFT processes.
• Proven ability to prepare internal and regulatory AML/CFT reports.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a risk‑based mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Lithuanian.
