Designated Beauty Advisor (Aesop)

About the role

The Designated Beauty Advisor (DBA) for Aesop at Holt Renfrew builds lasting relationships with clients, driving sales and brand loyalty within a luxury retail environment. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and representing the Aesop brand with expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed personal and brand sales targets.
• Develop a loyal client base by acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and retaining repeat buyers.
• Share expert product knowledge with the store team and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and management.
• Identify marketing opportunities, execute events, and provide assortment recommendations to drive brand sales.
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and other sales support tasks.
• Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, and other electronic methods regarding events, product requests, and follow‑ups.
• Resolve customer service issues and ensure compliance with health, safety, privacy, and cyber‑security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in a commission‑based luxury retail sales environment.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
