DevOps Engineer – Cloud & AI Infrastructure

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will build and operate the cloud and infrastructure foundation for a new R&D team focused on responsible AI in global financial markets. The role requires a hands‑on, curious mindset and full ownership of outcomes in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Automate AWS infrastructure deployments using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Own and operate Kubernetes clusters, handling upgrades, configuration management, and service reliability.
• Maintain observability, secrets management, high‑availability, and reliability standards across all environments.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI‑assisted tooling into operational workflows and pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and be accountable for team goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications (Docker, Podman, or similar).
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EKS, RDS, IAM); Azure or GCP experience is valued.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitLab), Git workflows, and scripting in Bash or Python.
• Demonstrated use of an AI‑assisted tool to solve an infrastructure or operational problem.
