About the role

KTU Publishing House is looking for a creative and responsible designer‑layout artist to turn publication ideas into high‑quality printed and digital products. You will work closely with the editorial team to ensure a consistent visual language across all media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop graphic design concepts and layout solutions for books, brochures, posters, invitations, and other promotional materials.
• Prepare files for print and digital distribution, ensuring compliance with production standards.
• Participate in the creative process, generating ideas and turning them into tangible designs.
• Maintain publishing house quality standards and meet project deadlines.
• Handle additional design tasks and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of design and layout experience in print or publishing.
• Higher education in graphic design, visual communications or a related field.
• Strong command of Lithuanian and good written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to translate creative concepts into practical design solutions.
• Interest in publication design, strategic thinking and detail‑oriented work.

Required skills

• Professional proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of file preparation for various printing technologies.
