DLP Purview Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DLP Purview Engineer to join Luminor’s cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention solutions across the bank. The role combines technical expertise with a proactive security mindset to protect sensitive data.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain Microsoft Purview DLP solutions throughout the organization.
• Implement, administer, monitor and continuously improve DLP controls.
• Identify, investigate and remediate data protection risks and policy violations.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Engineering and other technology teams to ensure effective data protection.
• Review and challenge existing controls, processes and configurations with a security‑first approach.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in defining and improving DLP policies, processes and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in cybersecurity, IT operations or system administration.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for a Pan‑Baltic team.
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and related Information Protection solutions.
• Microsoft 365 security technologies and Microsoft security certifications.
• Windows administration and endpoint management.
• Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of data classification, information protection and regulatory compliance requirements.
