Electronics Engineer – Power Electronics IC Design

About the role

Teltonka Telematics is building a new Power Electronics Integrated Circuit design department. As an Electronics Engineer you will help launch the company’s first IC designs, turning specifications into functional prototypes and measurement methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCBs for prototypes and evaluation platforms using Altium Designer or similar tools.
• Develop and assess new technical solutions, preparing specifications and requirements.
• Create measurement and evaluation methodologies, perform electrical measurements, calculations, root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Test prototypes, develop validation scenarios and collaborate closely with IC designers, manufacturing and other engineering teams.
• Gradually engage in IC design activities and build competence in integrated circuit design.

Required profile

• Higher or advanced education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics or power electronics engineering.
• Strong background in analog and power electronics circuits and power‑converter topologies (buck, boost, LDO, drivers).
• Proven ability to design and review schematics and PCBs, and to debug functional, stability and EMI/EMC issues.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
