Engineering Manager – VGo Network

About the role

As Engineering Manager for the Starship team in the Vinted Go Network domain, you will lead a team of engineers building and scaling the systems that power Vinted's shipping network. The team owns shipment orchestration, post‑order endpoints and the Network Admin panel, enabling effective network utilisation as Vinted Go expands across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the team's delivery against the product roadmap, support quarterly planning and ensure timely execution.
• Lead technical initiatives that improve shipping orchestration, carrier integrations, service availability and partner workflows.
• Partner closely with Product to shape discovery, prioritisation and technical sequencing for future development.
• Collaborate with engineering, decision‑science, operations, business and partner‑facing teams to solve high‑impact logistics problems.
• Build and maintain a high‑trust, accountable team and support engineers' growth through coaching and clear expectations.
• Continuously improve team health, delivery practices and engineering standards while fostering an inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in product, platform or backend environments.
• Skilled at building high‑performing teams, setting clear scope, managing priorities and driving delivery.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership experience with a focus on coaching and long‑term development.
• Comfortable facilitating technical conversations across engineers, product, operations, data and business stakeholders.
• Able to turn ambiguous problems into focused engineering work.
• Strong understanding of balancing delivery speed, reliability, scalability and maintainability.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast‑moving environments with changing priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
