Finance & Operations Assistant – Back Office

About the role

RatePunk is seeking a structured, detail‑oriented Finance & Operations Assistant to turn messy financial and operational data into clear, reliable processes. You will own day‑to‑day financial administration, ensure accurate data flow between internal teams and external accounting partners, and support cost‑control initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoices, bills, subscriptions, payments and expense tracking.
• Maintain clean, well‑structured financial records for internal use and external partners.
• Prepare internal financial summaries and reports (monthly costs, budget tracking, cash‑flow visibility).
• Act as the main point of contact with external accounting partners, ensuring timely data submission.
• Monitor spending, flag inconsistencies and support budget planning.
• Coordinate back‑office operational processes related to finance and documentation.
• Support planning and logistics for internal events, including budget tracking.
• Handle occasional ad‑hoc tasks related to financial reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in finance operations, back‑office, or finance administration.
• Strong numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and bring structure to daily operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
