Finance & Treasury Manager (Fintech)

About the role

Newrails, a regulated fintech building a bridge between traditional payments and stablecoins, is seeking a hands‑on Finance & Treasury Manager for its Lithuanian operations. You will own key financial processes, safeguard customer funds, and help shape the operational foundation as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day safeguarding processes for customer funds held in accounts and stablecoin activities.
• Perform accurate daily reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures, financial controls and documentation to meet regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate reporting and information requests to satisfy Bank of Lithuania requirements.
• Oversee treasury activities, monitor liquidity and support fund allocation decisions within safeguarding rules.
• Work with technology and operations teams to automate transfers and improve reconciliation workflows.
• Collaborate with external accounting provider and internal finance colleagues on accounting, payroll and supplier payments, supporting the transition of selected activities in‑house.
• Develop and refine finance procedures to handle increasing transaction volumes.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in finance, treasury or financial control within an electronic money institution, payments company or other regulated financial services business.
• Practical knowledge of customer‑fund safeguarding and related regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to build and document processes and controls from an early‑stage environment.
