General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Dana Service Center in Vilnius is looking for a full‑time General Ledger Accountant. The role is hybrid and focuses on accurate, timely processing of all GL transactions in line with corporate policies, SOX and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑close procedures, including fixed‑assets accounting.
• Calculate and post journal entries such as accruals, prepaid expenses and bank journals.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and analyse open items.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX requirements and service‑level agreements.
• Maintain accurate general‑ledger records and reconcile accounts.
• Support the annual audit process and provide required documentation.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives for GL processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of practical accounting experience, preferably in a service‑center environment.
• Good knowledge of international accounting principles.
• Business‑level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
• Customer‑focused and result‑oriented attitude.
