Group Finance Controller

About the role

Everwest is seeking a Group Finance Controller to own the integrity, timeliness and comparability of the Group's financial information across ten entities in five countries. The role reports to the Group CFO and works closely with entity chief accountants, FP&A, external auditors and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations, foreign‑currency translation and consolidation adjustments.
• Ensure consistent chart of accounts, uniform accounting policies and accurate cost‑centre coding across all entities.
• Own the group close calendar, streamline month‑end processes, automate entries and set quality gates.
• Develop Power BI finance reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, KPI dashboards) and define the underlying data model.
• Produce cash‑flow statements, reconcile management and financial accounting views and drive convergence.
• Identify and eliminate differences between management and statutory results.
• Lead local finance controllers, set priorities, review output and develop competencies.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and support board and bank reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in financial control, group accounting or audit with hands‑on multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidation.
• Higher education in accounting, finance or economics; ACCA/CPA qualification is a plus.
• Fluent Lithuanian and English; Russian at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP / consolidation systems.
• Power BI (data modelling and report building).
• Knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards.
• Multi‑currency consolidation (EUR, PLN, KZT, CNY).
