About the role

Lemona electronics is seeking a Defence Industry Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of new customers and business opportunities within the defence and security sector across the Baltic region. You will act as the primary contact from initial outreach through to delivering tailored component solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new defence, security, and technology start‑up clients, as well as public procurement organisations.
• Develop project‑based sales with manufacturers, start‑ups and engineering teams, from need identification to solution proposal.
• Monitor market trends, key players and competitive landscape in the Baltic defence market.
• Coordinate technical proposals with sales engineers and suppliers.
• Represent the company in public tenders, competitions, exhibitions, conferences and other industry events.
• Maintain relationships with Ukrainian market partners and expand those connections.
• Transfer qualified leads to internal teams and continuously update CRM with sales opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in business, international trade, engineering, security or defence studies.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with at least 2 years in defence, security, electronics, industrial technology or robotics.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English (minimum B2 level); Russian or Ukrainian is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of public procurement processes in defence and security, strong negotiation skills.
